Sonora Employment Agency

Sonora Employment Agency is dedicated to providing professional employees to the local county business developments.  It is the purpose of the Agency to see that each employee provided to a job site has been properly interviewed, tested, and past employment checks have been reviewed.  The Agency takes pride in reviewing their potenetial clients, and ensuring that all pertinent information is received to formulate a placement that is suitable to meet the highest expectations of the client.

Our Business

Sonora Employment Agency has been successfully operating in Tuolumne County since 1974.  It was origianally established by Midge Perry, and was succeeded by Ginger Wyckoff.  In October of 2006 the Agency was purchased by Peniel Wilk, and is currently owned and operated under her direction.

When the Agency was initially established the sole directive of the company was to provide employee's to local businesses under the status of Direct Placement.  As the market of temporary employment changed, the company directives changed to provide employment in the appropriate status.  Currently a client is provided the option of employee placement under the status of Direct Placement, Temporary Placement, or Temp to Hire Placement.

Who We Are

Peniel Wilk

Peniel purchased the Agency in October of 2006, shortly after completing her Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies.  The emphasis of her degree was in office practices and conflict resolution.  Peniel has worked for Sonora Employment Agency in several capacities, prior to purchasing the Agency. 

Denise Martin

Denise has recently relocated to Tuolumne County.  She originally comes from the Bay Area where she has had a substantial amount of experience with office management.  Denise has also had the opportunity to own and operate a personal business, and brings a lot of knowledge in the concepts of business operations and employee development.
